Our Responsibility to the Planet
Our commitment to people and the environment is present during the flight experience, as well as in all the elements that make it possible. We have obtained environmental certification aligned with the ISO 14001 environmental management system. This certification highlights our commitment and drive towards the objectives set out in our Sustainability Policy: identify, prevent and minimise pollution within the scope of our flight operations and in our offices, protect the environment in accordance with current regulations, and continuously improve the company's environmental and social performance. We comply with industry best practices in noise and air quality while promoting a circular economy model based on the reuse and recycling of waste generated throughout our operations.
Reducing Our Carbon Footprint
We are making determined progress toward the decarbonization of our operations. We recognize that aviation faces one of the greatest environmental challenges of our time, and we are working every day to reduce our emissions and actively contribute to the global goal of achieving net zero by 2050. Since January 2025, we have been gradually using sustainable aviation fuel (SAF), one of the key elements in achieving decarbonisation. In addition, we implement operational efficiency measures that help reduce fuel consumption, such as optimizing onboard weight through the use of lighter materials in luggage containers and catering trolleys, as well as more efficient potable water management.
Reducing Plastic Use and Waste
We are committed to minimizing plastic waste across all our operations. By replacing single-use plastics with sustainable alternatives, we aim to reduce our environmental footprint while maintaining a high-quality travel experience. Onboard, items such as cutlery, cups, and packaging are being replaced with biodegradable or reusable materials. In our lounges and catering services, we promote responsible consumption and recycling practices. Beyond operations, we collaborate with suppliers and industry partners to innovate in packaging and materials. Every step we take to reduce plastic use reflects our commitment to a cleaner, more sustainable future for aviation and the planet.
